For a few weeks now I have been looking for a 1916-D Walking Liberty in VG-8 to F-15 grade. I do a lot of looking on E-Bay and other coin websites and there doesn't seem to be many around and the ones I see on E-Bay labeled VG frankly don't look like the VG-8 shown on the PCGS Photo grade website. I guess they are in short supply?

Yep, halves circulated quite heavily in the late 1800's straight through the 1940's.

Yes, I put one up a few months ago on the bay. it was a borderline F10 and I had 10 bidders and it sold for $60. Surprised me.

Yes, they seem to be worn and grades of Fine are difficult to find. Plenty of Good and AG are around though, just have to keep looking. Thanks for the replies.

Berk has a few VG's, but there's not much between VG8 and AU.

This one may be out of your price range, advertised as XF more likely VF 30 to 35.

Found this one yesterday and won it on E-Bay. Just what I was looking for other than being slabbed, but it will work for me.
