I just got my old coin collection from my dads house after not really doing much with it since I was a kid in the 60's. I want to get back into the swing of coin collecting and am selling a few pieces on ebay.

I think these coins came from my grandfather who served in India during the war, but I don't really know what they are. Can anyone help identify them?

thanks
Tim

Ahh, dump coinage!
I'm no good at Indian Native States, but these are distinctive enough that somebody ought to be able to name them for you pretty rapidly.

The Bhopal quarter anna (if that's what it is - which I think so) is going to be AH1302-AH1306. The Kashmiri ones are VS1914-1919 (Or 1857-1862 AD) so you'd be spot on with mid 19th century.

hope that helps
