I had a frustrating irritating problem ordering the Coin & Medal sets,They have pushed my date back to 7/6/05 at least 6 times now. I have been hung up on, told "I will just cancell your order and you won't have to worry about it". I had finally had enough. I called the mint directly yesterday asked for a customer service manager. The csr's at the 800 # work out of Plano,Tx and are clueless. The Customer Service Manager at the Mint called me back and said. I WILL have my sets by next week. I also explained the lack of customer service at the 800 #. He said they do not work for the Mint but if I had names of the csr's (Customer Service Reps) he will forward it to THEIR manager as the Mint does not oversee their work. Here is the Number for customer service DIRECTLY IN WASHINGTON.
202-354-7500 or 202-874-3134 TRY THESE FIRST
Public Affairs- 202-354-7227. Just passing on good info.

P.S ANYTIME YOU CALL THE 800 #, MAKE SURE YOU GET THEIR NAME.

Good going Grovey!

Be aware that there is also a packaging facility in Tennessee. These employees like those of the Plano office DO NOT work for the U.S. Mint, they are subcontractors.
