on this site you can buy all the fake keys you want and even have the certified! like this 1909s vdb au-58 http://www.aliexpress.com/item/1909...8441102.htmlis coin collecting in danger? think about it,I'm pretty sure that a coin made 150 years ago can be reproduced perfectly with technology today. what if the market gets flooded with really good copies? will people be to afraid to buy and coins any more making our collections worthless? is it time to sell? this site also sells fake silver bars that look really good, *** removed comment ***

You have to stand up and fight. You can win against them. The USA is its own worst enemy when it comes to the counterfeit fight. They are years behind Canada. IMO

Why do you think this is a counterfeit coin? I checked the PCGS registry and it checks out.
The website Aliexpress is a wholesaler of all kinds of items and I've done business with them for wire baskets, totally not coin related, and they seem legit. But they are a fulfillment operation and don't manufacture anything they sell.
It would be outrageous if they were selling certified counterfeits.

The seller you show is The Big Tree Coin Factory. All are known and markers have been published.

i know we need to fight but the problem is there are too many scammers out there and it is only getting worse, and if the counterfeits get better then I think we are all in trouble, I also collect early canada stamps and I'm afraid of that also

Ignore the man behind the curtain, now I see the word "copy" in the title description. I am sending a link of this to PCGS since they are obviously counterfeiting their holders complete with semi-accurate coin info. i.e. the PCGS registry lists the coin as 1909 VDB grade 59BN which and the slab in the listing doesn't have a color distinction

More than scary, I sent PCGS a link to the site. They also need to be concerned that someone selling replicas is doing it in seemingly accurate PCGS holders. Hmmmm, think I'll send the link to the Secret Service too, they investigate counterfeiting.

This has been going on for years. ICCS as well as NGC CCCS PCGS ANACS have all been "Replicated"

pcgs just recently opened an office in Shanghia, they should take a proactive stance in this issue

what has me more surprised than counterfeit slabs is that the registry info is almost accurate. The real PCGS coin is graded 58BN and I guess that would stand out as fake since this coin is red. The absence of the color distinction should be a red flag for cent collectors since it's an important factor in determining value.
