I came accross a 1962 and 1963 Dollar Coin that has gold painted on the canoe and on the lines(northern lights) above the canoe. They have glue on the Obverse, so I'm assuming they came from some type of Proof set, but can't seem to find any info on them. There is also an " HP " stamped into the canoe luggage. Also an "EH" to the left and below the canoe and looks professionally done, like by a goldsmith did it. If you know something about them, please share.
Some crafty person's handiwork. HB on the bundle is supposedly for Hudson's Bay and appears on all voyageur silver dollars. EH also appears on all voyageur dollars, the designer's initials,Emanuel Hahn.

Thanks DBM....I've got a wack of silver dollars, but I guess I've never had ones this minty before as I was never able to see the initials before. But now that you mention it, I can just faintly make out them on my other ones. Thanks so much for the education.
