Vaslin Pillar of the Community United States 914 Posts	Posted 06/01/2007 09:15 am After reading the CherryPicker's fourth edition, I noticed the the two feather Buffalo nickel variation from 1917-1920. This one that I found last night is a 1916 and is not listed in the book. Is it a known variety? I'm assuming that in it's horrid condition that it's not worth much at all, is it? tmor Valued Member United States 159 Posts	Posted 06/08/2007 10:02 pm I picked up this 1916 Buffalo in a lot of higher grade coins and was thrilled to discover that it is the "no F" variety listed in The Cherrypicker"s Guide as FS-016.3. Technically it should be considered the weak F variety because there is a faint trace of the initial. It also has a trace of the 3rd feather remaining so I guess it would be a "2 1/2 feather weak F" variety. http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/...133_buff.jpg Report this Post to the Staff
