South African Varieties - Is There A Market For Them?

kanga Pillar of the Community United States 5825 Posts	Posted 08/09/2013 09:50 am I've got three South African coins that are either RPD's or recut dates. They are all 6d coins, one 1943 and two 1945. I've got no feeling for the amount of interest nor value of such items. Comments, please. Report this Post to the Staff

DVCollector Bedrock of the Community United States 10045 Posts	Posted 08/10/2013 7:11 pm I collect world varieties, specifically overdates...and I think all 3 have repunching going on. Nice finds! The 1943 is especially dramatic--clearly 43 has been repunched. I suspect the last 2 digits of the date were added on each die. Report this Post to the Staff
