CoinCollector2000 Pillar of the Community United States 2563 Posts	Posted 08/09/2013 6:11 pm Okay, so today was my third hunt with the Ace 250 and I'm starting to get the gist of it. I got a dime/penny signal and not 2 inches below the surface, a penny popped out. The date was toasty out of the hole, so I took it in to wash it off, with warm water. The date a 1976 Lincoln Memorial cent! I'm so happy right now, I'm gonna hunt some more later! I also found some copper thing that looks almost like a blade, a Bud Light bottle cap (I like bottle caps ), and a beer can. Best Find: The Penny Of Course!! But I am going detecting at a 1800's house that was my Grandmother's Grandmother's house when it cools down and all the snakes go away. Wish Me Luck!! I've found 2 mem. pennies in my backyard, but I do NOT consider those as finds, but rather, "finds". In fact, check out the metal detected stuff I found.
