Okay, so today was my third hunt with the Ace 250 and I'm starting to get the gist of it. I got a dime/penny signal and not 2 inches below the surface, a penny popped out.

The date was toasty out of the hole, so I took it in to wash it off, with warm water. The date a 1976 Lincoln Memorial cent!

I'm so happy right now, I'm gonna hunt some more later!

I also found some copper thing that looks almost like a blade, a Bud Light bottle cap (I like bottle caps ),
and a beer can.

Best Find: The Penny Of Course!!
Total Time Spent Detecting: About 4 Hours

Well done! My first find with my detector (in the UK of course) was a British 1971 decimal half penny.

It is nice that you got excited about a Lincoln Cent. I can't wait to read about your first silver coin or gold ring. There is not enough dancing fruit for that day.

Thanks guys, Tim yeah I got excited but whatever. And no there is not enough fruit, never enough fruit.

But I am going detecting at a 1800's house that was my Grandmother's Grandmother's house when it cools down and all the snakes go away. Wish Me Luck!!

I'm gonna go to the bank tomorrow to get some coin rolls, it's my first time coin roll hunting! I must have coin fever!!

I actually kept my first finds with my metal detector: two quarters and a half-rotted zinc cent. Still have never found silver but as my signature shows, I have found more coins.

I've never found a coin with real value yet. I've found 2 mem. pennies in my backyard, but I do NOT consider those as finds, but rather, "finds".

In fact, check out the metal detected stuff I found. It is already in a forum on the site: https://goccf.com/t/157678
