Today, I took out my metal detector. My kids and I spent a while scanning our yard. We dug up a 1975 Nickel and a penny (date too dirty to see).

We also found an old matchbox car.

It was great fun with the kids. They really love finding the treasures.

Nice! always great to find stuff in your own yard!
I remember my first outing like it was yesterday, my dad made the machine bleep and I dug in the grass and dirt with such delight and uncovered my very first coke can tab pull! I thought it was magic. Excellent times, and set me on the road to metdet heaven

Check out the metal detected stuff I found. It is already in a forum on the site: https://goccf.com/t/157678

The reason I share this is because I have also included photos.
