Can't figure out which obverse/reverse variety on this 1874. After a bit of research, I *think* that the obverse is Freeman 7, but I'm unsure about the reverse.

Also, does anyone know which die pairing is more scarce for this year? I'd appreciate it. Hope my pictures aren't too bad

I don't have Freeman, so I don't know what Freeman 7 means.
I'm still using Peck !

Well, I suppose we'll use Peck then.

I'm pretty sure it's Peck 6 obv, but unsure if reverse is F or G.

I agree with obverse 6, and I think rev G, too.

A close up of the top of the lighthouse and a close up of the hand on the shield might help.

According to Peck, they're both C common, though I think Freeman probably had a more accurate view of relative rarity.

Also worth looking at Gouby, if you can get it, if not, see http://www.michael-coins.co.uk/GBpenny2.htm .
