My father bought a Whites Coinmaster GT today and the Garret pointer so we did a little detecting in the back yard. Still getting familiar with it but already found our 1st coin. A 1944 Wheatie.. :)

Also found (not 100% sure, but with a little help from Google image search) a 1920 lead Army gunner soldier and a Victorian hook rail. (Never even knew what a hook rail even was)

Well, I hope to find more interesting stuff when we venture out of our own back yards..
