Very, very common on dimes since the 2000 dates. You'll find this on 2002, 2003, etc. Just not enough room I suspect for such a large date on such a small coin. I've collected error coins for a long time. I first saw those in 2000 and thought I struct it rich. Then I started to notice lots of them. And then in 2002 again. By 2005 I stopped collecting those faded out last numbers as just to common. At coin shows they are laughed at as a oddity due to just to common. I've found some with part of the second to the last 0 missing and those too are no big thing.
