no yoshi those are the designer initials,this coin has some die clashes under the three leaf and above the number 3,but its the denticles that I was trying to get an opinion if it is die damage

eddio I think your coin is the hanging 3 variety and it seems like there is some clashes going on between the leafs. Great find
