The roll looks good - but not too good.
The modern fonts for "Nevada" and "$10.00" are what makes it look very fishy.
There's no chance it's an actual period roll, right?

I'm no fan of these "unsearched" rolls, mind you. That said, in contrast to the lottery tickets, the buyers of these rolls likely get more "bang for the buck" in these numismatic purchases.
The seller of this subject roll appears to be an honest guy. A scammer would likely have cracked out those two Morgans he's offering and played dumb. The slab labels respectively state that the 1892-S and 1893-S Morgans have been cleaned. Dollars to donuts, some future owner/seller of these will crack them out ...

He needs $250+ on each coin, before slabbing if that is what he would do. IF each was a CC......big gamble but I've seen lots of people do a lot worse with their money in Vegas. I hope it is a forum member and he slowly shows the unrolling and posts a pic of one coin each day, LOL.

"I just received an email asking if I have a web site to or for this bank to prove it existed ? I did not have anything and I never looked thinking there would be no information to any and all banks in the US well back in them days anyway. So I looked around some .... But I did find where a person from Nevada said this quote Quote: The State Bank & Trust Company of Carson City was not established until 1903....It failed in 1907 I do not say or imply any warranty in any way shape or form for whether this is real bank roll or not." nice fine print there. why not edit out all the parts where he says it's a roll from the 1890's? fishy imo... exoguy, they could be planted there to entice people into buying an overpriced roll like people do with all the other unsearched rolls on ebay.

I assume that this item is now in the hands of the buyer.
That being the case, I would try non destructive investigation, such as x-ray analysis. A materials institute or department of a university may do it for a fee, or advise who may be able to.

I'm also not a fan of "unsearched rolls." I've bought 3 and was disappointed each time, so never again! However I never paid quite THAT much for one.

Does anyone really think the end of roll coins remained blast white since the 1890's?

That's exactly what I was thinking. Clean prooflike coins on the ends, highly unlikely.

Not to mention that bank never existed. This is a well-known scammer who has been doing it for years.

The "State Bank & Trust Company" of Carson City existed. The "Carson City State Trust Bank" (as labeled on the rolls) did not. That, in banking, is a hugely important distinction - the phraseology of the title was often rearranged for new banks as the only difference from others.
This seller/product has been talked about across fora for years.

Quote: Listing says:
Above all it is a GREAT CONVERSATION PIECE
I'd imagine the conversation would go something like this- "Did I ever tell you about the time I got totally taken on a roll of silver dollars?"
