Picked this up at the LCS today,couldn't resist,a strange attraction.
Art Deco,from a time the movement was newly described and gaining momentum.
Obverse by E.B.MacKennal,the familiar portrait that appears on virtually all Canadian GeorgeV coins.
Reverse by Percy Metcalfe,designer of the GeorgeV portrait that appears on the 1935 Dollar.You can see the same hand at work on both the Dollar and this medal.
