I had one today, bought several 09-VDB's I guess he is seeding rolls. Did not even wait for an invoice and paid full shipping.

Its not necessarily anything suspicious. Some people may not want the feedback lingering around for months where it shows that they bought especially if its an expensive item.
Of course there are shady reasons to request it as well, but they arent the only reasons.

Quote: I agree but when it happens it makes you wonder. If theyre selling rolls of "unsearched" coins or "error" rolls of what you just sold them its hard to give someone the benefit of the doubt. With the added information it does seem like they be want it hidden for more than privacy reasons.

Birthday present for someone that knows your ebay id.... Don't want your spouse/significant other to know you spent the money.... Your reselling them and don't want it to be easy to see what you paid for them....

I've had this happen and my bet reselling them cause many would rather hear or tell these were my uncles for many years than to know or reveal they were simply trying to make a profit.

Wow! 'Unsearched' roll sellers acting shady. Okay...
I like to read though their feedback for entertainment sometimes.
Truely 'unsearched' rolls are available at the bank for no additional charge.

If it's something you plan on reselling, I don't think it's an unreasonable request. If it's for roll seeding, then it is a bit shady.

Well if hes doing it for resale, why not buy from one account, and sell on another. Noone cares about a buyers rating (for the most part)
