We were wondering if you guys had any information on this coin? Primarily if it was a legitimate mint or if it's just a replica piece. Thanks in advance, RWTradingPost.

(photos were to large so I'm posting links instead)

Welcome to the forum!
Neither genuine, nor an innocent replica, as the coin depicted, an 1882 Trade dollar with an S mintmark, never existed. That aside, the mushy features suggest a counterfeit.

Thanks for the quick reply Philadelphian. Our research brought us to the same conclusion but we figured we'd let the coin guru's have the final say.
