Treasure-In-Backyardck there is some writing that is very difficult to read and the only thing that I can make out for sure is 1st Place. There is also a Mee___ something before the 1st place. The attached picture depicts my best interpretation of letters and spacing. I am really interested in finding out more about this token.

Awards medal for track meet from the figures on the obverse, a little too ancient for a truck meet do the remain letters match any of the middle/high schools in the area check phone book for running or track and field clubs now or in the past. Look for the oldest research librarian in your local library she/he may not even have to look it up they can be a fount of local knowledge.
