What do you guys think is the most common old style bill out in circulation.
My answer is the $100 bill.

I assume you are not including the one dollar note as a choice (since there is no new style).
I have had at least two old style one hundred dollar notes in the last few years. Considering how infrequently I get or use them, it says a lot.

Probably is the $100 - they have a longer lifespan than the smaller denominations and printed in smaller runs. Along those lines, someone is going to hold onto a $100 more so than a $10 or $20 that can be used for a variety of purchases.

The most common one, in my experience, is the $5 or $10. I rarely come across $100s and have only ever had a single $50.

Another vote for the $100, at least for my experience. It seems its been awhile since I have received anything other than new bills in everything else.

There are more "small head" $5's going through our tills in OKC than any other denomination that I have seen.

For me it seems to be $20s. I volunteer at a bingo hall, and we get a fair number of them coming through. I also ask my bank for old bills and they seems to have more $20s than anything.

It's kind of a toss up between the $50 and $100 for me. I do find the smaller denoms on occasion, but they're more tattered and torn than anything else.
