...numismatic resource/forum available for collectors.
In the short time I have been a part of this forum (and the year or so of lurking) I have seldom seen any abusive or degrading rhetoric when it comes to YNs or "average" collectors that post their new p's or "novice" questions and comments. I thank the moderators and more importantly fellow members for keeping this place a civil haven for the exchange of ideas.

Thanks for the compliment. Many of us fled other forums because of the problems you have mentioned. Members like yourself who follow our simple rules are what make this a safe and fun place to call "home". We appreciate any comments you may have if you run across a problem that we may have missed. This is the Best Coin Forum on the net, period.
I was a member of another very popular one but left because some of the members were rude and the moderators were worse.

Only been here a few weeks but already I have to say not only is this the best Coin forum ive been too,but the best forum,very friendly!   |

I really like these forums too. They're not as pretentious or as "profit-driven" as other forums seem to be. At least we don't see a gazillion ebay topics here (yet). |

This is the first forum I joined, CC family are very friendly, informative and everybody here is willing to help at anytime. (In fact I sometimes feal that they race each other who will respond first to any needed help)
I've searched other forums but I didnt even register.
Simply CCF is the best

I'm really glad to see that everyone is enjoying it here so much. That is why CC was created. Prethen, there actually are quite a few ebay topics, but they are in their own section and are moved from any other forum they show up in. That's why you don't see them. It was our feeling that ebay also needed a place on the forum since so many purchase and sell there. I am glad that you don't feel that the ebay factor is hurting your enjoyment of CC. I just want this to be a nice, peaceful place where we can all enjoy sharing our hobby and hopefully make some friends in the process. |

I have to agree with Benji. The truly positive atmosphere makes the Coin Community my preferred forum. I lurk on others, but this is the only one (so far) that I am a member of.

I agree, it is the best site ever!! Thanxz again to ScoutJim for advising me of this site, it is the only one I use; have even purged the names of the others from my photographic, steel-trap memory; those neural networks no longer exist within my frontal cortex!

It is amazing how this site attracts some of the most altruistic, patient, polite, and understanding users. I know the main reason I migrated here was the constant threads on making $$ and use of vulgarity found on other forums.
Besides educational and polite discussions I think the most appealing aspect here is the "Family" atmosphere. Susan, Bobby, & all the moderators make each one of us feel accepted and welcome into the family.
