Hello again,

Im thinking this is an obvious Lamination error on the reverse, but since I am not super familiar with various types of lamination errors, I need more eyes

Relooking at the pics I guess it doesn't show the dimensions of it well, but the peeled area is lower than the rest of the surface. its definitely not something on the coin. Its material missing.
Rest in Peace

My first though was also glue. It doesn't look like a delamination. It looks like some type of PMD. Maybe something acidic was on the coin that was removed and damaged it. Did you try some acetone on it? I would do that first.

Looks PMD to me. Maybe it was heated, buried or a chemical of some kind.

I left it in Acetone overnight last night... The glue thing was eating away at me, so I had to be sure. Popped it out this morning and it looks exactly the same. So definitely not something on the coin. So now the only question is if not Lamination error, what could have caused the peeling. Maybe something acidic like Pyrbob stated. The only thing that really caught my eye was unlike chemically damaged coins that I have seen before, this one lacks the ugly corrosion that goes along with it. Its a very clean peel so to say. You can also still see the details in the peeled areas, if that helps anyway. Thanks for all the peeks!
