You are asking quite a bit IMHO if you expect the CCF experts to take their time to look at each of those links and evaluate each coin for you.

Best results as a collector is always to acquire personal knowledge ... that is priceless.

Wishing you the best with the auctions ... perhaps an expert with time on their hands will show up in time to address your inquiry.

Not what I would call a very reputable seller with low sales so I would avoid them

Hey BenjaminsBaby, do you have an issue with this seller?
This seller has a 100% Feedback rating, which is hard to find on ebay, and he also has a seller rating of "PowerSeller" which states: "PowerSellers receive exclusive benefits for reaching specific ebay goals including sales volume, customer satisfaction, policy compliance and account standing."
But my question had nothing to do with the seller, I am interested in the Ike error coins he has for sale. They seem to be reasonably priced according to the IkeGroup people, and they come in their original government packages.
I am mostly interested in the PegLeg that also has a DDO.

I don't see how those can be called errors. I wouldn't bother with any of them.

The so called doubling is so small it's very hard to even see. But, if you like one of them, then you should get one.
I don't have any problems with this seller and I would buy from. BUT I wouldn't buy those errors.

Remember, these are just my opinions. ( yes, I did review all seven links)

The only one I didn't like was the first link. The rest are nice doubled dies.

They should not be called errors because they are die varieties

Now I am totally confused - I have two outstanding members each with complete opposite opinions.
My new interest in these Ikes came from an article I read that stated Ikes were under valued, but who knows...
BTW, I have seen the Peg Legs sell on ebay for upwards of $300, so this one seems to be a fair price.

Bio is correct.
DDO's/DDR's are die varieties. Not errors.
As far as those peg legs go I am not totally
sure, but I think that they are just the result
of die wear etc. and not even an error or a variety.
Maybe not ? Let me know
Only Ikes that I cherry pick are the 72 type 2 (7 found to date)
minimum AU grade and the type 1 76 in MS grade.
Maybe high AU. Maybe I will start to look closer in the future
for any DDO's/DDR's that bring a decent premium.

Dylangrace..get yourself 3 books..
1---The Authoritative Reference on Eisenhower dollars..2nd Edition 1998..J. Wexler, B. Crawford, K. Flynn..
You'll see DDO-OO8-DDO-O28 for Peg Legs, and, DDO-O29-DDO58 for NON Peg Legs(or, "Serif R0, and, all the asst. DDR.s...outdated, but, still a great reference until Tom K can finish his monumental book in the works.
2---Collectible IKE Varieties Facts, Photo's and Theories.2011, LULU PRESS..simply awesome, by the IKEGROUP.info gang..you need to learn their "Bookend" doubling terminology, or, "spread"(notching), within a "Family". Awesome chapters on Peg Legs too.
3---Coneca Attribution Guide to Eisenhower dollar Die Varieties, by James Wiles Ph.D., 1997..very hard to find, but, worth every penny for understanding Series Doubling, Master Die Doubled Dies, Working Hub Doubled Dies, and Doubled Dies..go to enough coin shops and coin shows, and, you'll find those 7 IKES you listed in a jiffy..just remember, a LOT of what you see in the IKE series is doubling with no premiums, as it is either MDD, or SD, or, a combo of both. HINT..stick with the BEST early die state coins you can find..they are the best bookend coins you'll find. Happy Hunting!
