Sudz Pillar of the Community United States 1572 Posts	Posted 08/20/2013 12:48 pm It appears the "A" in "STATES' is equidistant between the "T"'s, therefore it is a WAM. In a true CAM the "A" would be slightly closer to the second "T". I agree with rpmes, flattened devices due to natural wear making it look like a CAM. Report this Post to the Staff

Here is what George is talking about with the location of the "T" in STATES: Missing "FG" was polished away to remove clash marks. They "FG" is part of the coin's design, not something that didn't get added to the die. Impossible for it to be missing from the fresh die. Just polished away.
