When I first dove in to this great hobby, a little over a year ago, I had a large jug of cents that I had accumulated over several years. I purchased a loupe and started glassing like crazy. I hadn't done any research and only had the likes of the '55, '72, ect. to go on. Just the ones shown in the Red Book. I didn't even know coppercoins existed. I decided to seperate them into dates and mintmarks as I went, and put them in jewelry zip bags. A couple of weeks ago I decided to double check all of these to save only the really nice coins. This past weekend I ran into this one that I missed.

I, too, found one of these last week and I agree, these are kinda hard to see at first glance unless you know exactly what to look for. I often wonder how many error/variety coins I have missed since I started and before I began keeping a "second look" box. There is such a steep learning curve with this hobby...
