Welcome to the 2013 CCF College Football Pick'em Contest!
The 2013 season kicks off Thursday night! Good to see some players back from last season along with some new players.
This will be a straight up winner pick'em, no point spreads involved, just pick the winner. I'll review the schedule each week and post five games for the contest.
There will be 5 games posted each week. Four regular games, with the fifth game being the Game of the Week. Game 5 is a two parter, picking the winner and guessing the total combined score for the game.
*Scoring*
Games 1 through 4 will be worth 1 point for each correct pick.
Game 5 will be worth 3 points for each correct pick.
Game 5 Bonus points available for guessing the total combined score for the game.
If you are within 3 points of the total combined score, you will receive 5 bonus points.
If you correctly guess the exact total combined score, you will receive 7 bonus points!
You can still win bonus points for the score if even if you get the winner wrong.

Game 2 Team C vs Team D
Game 3 Team E vs Team F
Game 4 Team G vs Team H

*Pick Deadline*
With College football games being played during weeknights and Saturdays, The deadline for having your picks in will differ depending on weeknight games being included. If all 5 games are on a Saturday then the deadline will be Friday at 8pm. When I post the games, I will set the deadline for the picks to be submitted by.
*Rules*
Picks can not be edited after start of the first game, or you will be disqualified from the contest.
If you fail to get you picks in for the week, you won't be eliminated from the contest but it will make it harder to stay in contention.
If you miss the deadline for the picks but can get them in within a reasonable time before the first game starts, Games 1 through 4 will still count but you will be ineligible for Game 5 and potential bonus points.
By joining this contest, you agree to send a prize of your choice to the winner.
*Prizes*
No set limit on prize amounts, just whatever you would like to pitch in for the winner at the end of the season. Prizes will be mailed to the winner at the end of the contest by the participants.

Made a slight change to the rules for this year concerning not getting picks in by the deadline.
If you miss the deadline for the picks but can get them in within a reasonable time before the first game starts, games 1 through 4 will still count but you will be ineligible for Game 5 and potential bonus points.
Need to decide on a time, I'm thinking around 9am if all the games are on a Saturday. We can figure something out for weekday games.

Games for week one are up. Rutgers/FSU is Thursday night, deadline for the picks will be Wednesday at 8pm.
