I had a buyer win several items. I want to offer him the opportunity to buy additional similar items at a similar price without having to bid. I don't have his email address, only via ebay.

Second Chance Offers only go to the secondary bidders, not the winning bidder; and only apply where the winning bidder didn't pay.

Without going outside of ebay (& Paypal protection), breaking the rules or causing trouble, how do I do this?

I just did a Live Chat with ebay. & I think that I answered my own question. There is no way to do this.

The rep suggested that I list the new Items with BIN & notify the buyer that it's there. Then I would have to hope he follows through. Then I have to pay the Final Value Fee PLUS the Listing Fee & the BIN fee, which is higher than the normal low starting amount with no reserve & alot higher than a simple Second Chance Offer setup.

What a hassle. You would think that ebay could come up with an easy way to do this. No wonder people sometimes risk emailing each other & doing the deals off of ebay.

I had a buyer with a couple of items as well and I just asked him directly over ebay's messaging system and he did buy some more without me having to post them up.

You can always give a buyer your telephone number if he has any questions or needs to get in touch with you for any reason.
