I have heard of the "no FG" error, but I found a Kennedy the other day with some of the G still remaining whilst the F is just very very faint. see pic.

Is this a error? if so, is it collectable and/or worth anything?

thanks

Sorry, a true no FG is exactly that -- NO FG. Even a faint FG disqualifies it.
Rest in Peace

The '72-D No FG Half is a textbook example of a die abrasion "error". The error occurred on the die after it was put into service resulting in a collectible die variety.

Most die variety authorities have reservations about abraded dies being considered collectible die varieties.

With that said, being an FS variety listed in the CPG- it's an extremely rare variety with fully abraded FG. If it were me, I'd even hold onto the example you have. If nothing else, your coin is an excellent learning example which illustrates how the error occurs.
