Good morning all. Earlier last week my step son and I went to the LCS while out and about, he bought some Buffalo nickels from the book and I noticed what looked like a Shield nickel in the case, but the motor was broken so they couldn't get it out. Anyway, we went back yesterday and the motor was fixed. Here is my new, but beat up 1866 Shield nickel with Rays. Cost me $2.00. I know the picture quality is bad on obverse, details are gone but date and motto are readable. Overall, for $2.00, I'm happy with it.

The rim has a bit of a nick but other than that, I like it.
I am a sucker for Rays :)
