Looks like coca-cola coin.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

That is not a Dryer Coin which always have a severe edge problem--rolled up or severely rounded-----they do not effect the center design very much.
The photo shows acid or sand abrasion---or electrolysis IMHO

hang on to it until you are sure you can spend it,that's what I do with everything that I was not sure about ..a better pic could definitely make a difference,,

I took shots from all three angles. Obverse, reverse and standing sideways. It is half the thickness of a regular cent. I found it in a roll while roll searching. I'll see if I can post all three views!
