Does This 1930-S Buffalo Exhibit A Rim Cud?

I discovered this in one of my Buffalo rolls while looking to fill some of the holes in the Album I inherited (see the "Incredible Find" thread). Any ideas about what is going on near the mint mark? Is it a rim Cud or does it look like there was some grease in the die? I suppose it could just be wear, but I can't image there is enough raised metal in the lower part of the mint mark to do that. The area in question is flush with the rim.

Not really understand what part you mean. But I think your talking about the bottom rim?
That's just wear. I looked over 500+ buffalo's.

Also, that line by the tail is a scratch mark as well.
