It may be Struck Through Grease which is common, if not the wear is weird. There is some crud on the shield which is blocking some "LIBERTY". I think considering that it looks closer to VG10 if the reverse doesn't net it down. Report this Post to the Staff
BH1964 Bedrock of the Community United States 10982 Posts	Posted 08/27/2013 02:25 am Yeah, the obverse might make VG10, it's the reverse that brings it down. It likely was a weak reverse off the dies but at this level of wear, that's usually not factored in. I could see it as a VG with the notation of a weak reverse.
