I'm sure this has been done before, but post your all-time best finds while out metal detecting. I know this hobby can be very profitable at times. What's your best find?

I have access to one of the older sites in my (new) city, but nothing good has turned up yet.
But I've only been at it since the snow melted, so that's all right: here are my three best finds so far.
- 1952 penny: dug on the old family farm. I've just barely brushed the reign of King George VI. It was found near the front door of a now-gone garage - the front door of the house proper (connected by a still-visible concrete path) awaits further detecting. This is my oldest find... not bad for Alberta. - .925 pendant: a tacky pendant (?) stamped ".925". Hopefully, it really will be sterling. - 1990 British pound: dug in a playground at a much-visited national park. My first and only non-US foreign find!
And with the loonie and toonie in circulation, I've racked up almost $10 in loose change, almost all from playgrounds. I haven't done very much detecting in dirt, and so far I've only found trash. But I'll keep at it.

My first find (last year) was also my best find to date.. 1820 small date large cent in great condition. the dealers I've shown amd myself put her at AU Second best was an 1846 small date but its heavily corroded.. I've also found a few 10/14kt rings and some nice old relics, but for coins those are my best two..

Here's one of my favorite finds. 18 grams of 14K I also have a nice 18K 1967 class ring but I can't find a picture of it at the moment. This is my largest silver ring, it weighed in at 1.18 ounces! And with those leaves on the side I'd sure hate to get hit with it. And my first cross, I found this a few years back at a middle school.

I'm a bit of a newbie detector, but I'm sure I'll find something really good one of these days. Just got to check the backyard first, then the front, then I can move on to the park/school/etc. areas. Should be fun, but MDing takes a lot of time as you can lose track of yourself because you want to keep going.
