I've been pounding the ground hard lately, this pic shows my finds from last weekend and yesterday. I didn't go today due to my grand daughters 1st birthday but she's a treasure all by herself.

3-Days-Of-Detecting

From L to R

49 Quarters, 72 Nickels, 75 Dimes and 179 Cents. Small pocket knife and a couple of keys.

1965 Kennedy half, AH1316/1936 Afghanistan coin turned into a charm or something, a piece of a necklaces marked .925, And I'm not sure what the last piece is but it says "Siam sterling" on the back and has some Indian/Hindu god/icon on the front.

And a .925 ring with a nice aquamarine currently being held hostage by my wife.
The photo doesn't show the blue of the stone very well but I never have been good at getting good ring pics.

Schools and parks.....

The ring and about half of the change came from 1 High School. The half, the rest of the change and the other odd's and ends came from a couple of different parks.

I get around, a lot...lol

I don't think there's a school or park within 50 miles that I haven't been to, and in this area there are quite a few schools and parks. I like to find the small neighborhood parks that often get overlooked by other detectorist, and if I'm feeling lazy I'll just go to the elementary schools and clean out the playgrounds, kids are always great about loosing change and other odd's and ends....
