The best way is to avoid the bay until you have developed the skills and experience to shop with confidence. It is important to know what you want, to know what your tastes are and to know what you want to spend. Whenever possible get the best condition coin you can afford for the type, that way you will always be happy until you are in position to upgrade. Otherwise you put yourself at risk. Fakes of ancient coins are far less common than fakes of modern coins, and they are often a lot more obvious, once you know what to look for in the series you are interested in. I urge to take the next step and learn to read the legends and understand the symbolism if you have not already. Just remember the Gods help those who help themselves... Report this Post to the Staff

There is one, but they have a handful of coins and not very interesting at that. Until I know where I want to specialise I am stuck with the bay.
