I don't know if anyone else has posted this, but it's a bit strange. It's a 1961 Franklin Proof with a 1793 One Cent Over-Strike covering about 35% of both sides.

Someone's doing something weird with a set of dies.

Someone's playing with vices again. And someone will get schooled (because ya' know this is educational) if they actually start the bid at $295, or worse, buy it now for $400!
Rest in Peace

It has to be a set of chinese dies for making counterfeits. The original dies I'm sure were destroyed by use in 1793.

I would have to guess that it was done with Gallery Mint dies, they created many different "errors" in addition to the normal copies. I would also guess that if it was of Chinese origin, the host coin would be counterfeit as well
