I have three 1934A Chicago $1000 bills. I just had them graded by PMG and they graded out at 50 Exceptional. I wanted to know besides ebay, what is a good place to sel them, also what would be a fair price to ask? Thanks!

Try the auction houses. Buyers pay the fees. You can post them and just ask what they think. They should be able to give you an estimate on the value.

Heritage Auctions has a page on their site: Quick Reference Guide to US Paper Currency Values.
From what I saw, you could get double the face value for those notes.

Dont forget Buddy, they also have sellers fees. Birdy - on Track and Price(software program that tracks the auction houses and ebay sales) show 55's selling around $2500 so I would imagine 50's selling for $2000-$2250 each.

I agree with BisonMatt that $2K would be reasonable for that note. Its hard these days to not get raped on fees, however. If you are looking to sell, you might be best trying to sell it for $2K on here and settling for $1900. Just one mans opinion.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I'll probably just list them on ebay, I've been a member on there for over 10 years with a 100% rating with over 700 feedbacks. There fees have seemingly gone up and up, but it'll give a true picture of what it's worth I suppose. Two of the bills are in sequence so maybe I can get a bit more for both of them? I guess I will find out. :-)

Here you go, this is right before I sent them to be graded, I'll post them up after I get them back from PMG too.

I would pay $2,100 each. So if nothing else that is a place to start.
