The last coin of the series "A.Y. Jackson, Saint-Tite-des-Caps" is a Beauty again. I do collect all of them - unfortunately the boxes got lost during Transportation to europe...

But the coins I like very much - well done RCM (except for "The Guardian of the Gorge")

I agree! It will be great to have this series completed.

The coins look fantastic in the classy wooden box the mint provided.

My wife and I like all of the coins so far (yes, even the "Guardian of the Gorge"). I'm pretty sure from the web picture, that the A.Y Jackson is going to be stunning.

Strangely, it would appear that the mint forgot to include this last coin in the latest catalogue.

I didn't think the "Guardian of the Gorge" was too terrible, until I compared it to the original painting and saw how little of the painting was incorporated in the coin design. I agree this was a nice series--original theme, certainly Canadian content and (as most Mint coins are) very attractive. I hope the Mint can come up with some more winners.

Your point Ravenzcoin is well taken. I agree that the design of the guardian is only to be judged in comparison with the original painting... And also this original painting itself is refreshingly attractive and rather difficult to transfer partially to a coin..

This is a nice finish to the series for sure. It will be nice to have this completed.

Like has been mentioned, the only disappointing one is "guardian of the gorge".
The coin itself is not bad on it's own merit.
What I think makes it disappointing is that it was such a lost opportunity.
I felt that design of all announced designs had the potential to be the best in series based on the original artwork. If they could have captured the "guardian" in a contrasting finish to the rest of the coin it would have been terrific.

Still happy with the series as a whole and it will definitely make a fabulous display item.

Will be nice to have the display box filled.

Btw, for anyone who missed it, Gatewest are offering the complete series w/ the box for $700. That seems pretty reasonable given that the box along was selling for >100 on ebay a few months ago.

That is a good deal.
I paid $150 + shipping ($180 total) for my box alone.
I've seen some of the boxes only sell for over $200 on ebay.
