I get delivery regularly from several banks. I'm not a big time searcher, but I do what I can per week and am happy with the results.

This week is different. I received a box of $500 like I normally do, and started tearing into it. Going through it I realized that every roll was chalked full of BU 2001-D's. Instantly I gave up on the hopes that I would find any silver, because majority of the rolls were 2001.

I decided to seperate the rolls out into 2001 and non. So far I'm not even a 1/4 way through the box and have 90 dollars of 2001-D. My question is if there is any value to all these coins? I hate to bag them and recirculate them, because these coins have good luster and are in excellent shape. Anyone have any ideas? Please feel free to comment with suggestions. Thanks,

Colles

The remaining bank wrapped rolls could probably be sold on ebay (for example), last one sold for $15.99 + 1.99 for shipping. Depends if its worth it to you as after you pay the fees etc, we are not talking a lot of money left over. I personally do it myself as long as I dont lose. Makes me happy that someone will get to enjoy them versus throwing them into the wild.

It just depends if I think 3-4 bucks a roll is worth it. And I don't know how fast their going to move as well. Decisions decisions...

If you are willing to turn on your email feature, I can send you a private message with a link to a source that will pay $12 per roll for up to 300 rolls. I have successfully sold to them before and the deal went off without a hitch. You would have to pay the shipping but with the number you have they will probably fit in a USPS Priority Mail Medium Flat Rate Box at $12.85. At least you can get a little profit from them.
