Hi , I have been using saflips for larger crown size coins such as double thalers so I can fit them in to my Dansco 2x 2 pockets. I got these from ebay seller with the brand Saflips. So far they have been working out really well. However I see them kind a glued together with spots on them when I take them out for the before inserting the coins. I was wonder if anyone else is using Saflips and see the same behavior. I am just concerned that there is something in there gluing the plastic together that may harm the coins in the long run.

I use Saflips exclusively. They're just kinda "stuck" together like that from the factory; nothing untoward about it.

PET (polyethylene...), coin safe. Just keep in mind, they do let a lot of air in. Make sure you put them inside ziplocks! And if you really want to protect the coins, put those ziplocks into Tupperware or similar containers.

Saflips are safe, but I prefer cardboard / mylar flips.

One problem with what I prefer:
The mylar in these seems to be very slighly atmospheric absorbent, and that can result in them being stuck tight in soft PVC album pages, as if glued in. That can result in them being impossible to slide out again.
To avoid this problem, I use NON PVC archival quality clear polypropylene album pages.

Have some of those. What does heat sealable mean? Does that mean then can be closed and no air will get in? After which the coin must be cut out?
