Every time after posts like about "harvestor investments" I see that the coin goes high just because the sellers want to sell it for more.
Whoever didn't get this coin: do not regret. You didn't want it, even after seeing the design. And started to think about it only after other people managed to resell it for high value.

Thanks Silveroid, you're right. I still don't like the gold coin, only after I saw the increase in value, I started to regret. Boat missed; time to move on to building my collection with pieces I like and want to keep. Lots of nice new releases coming up!

I can't believe I'm saying this because I have not even ever read a superman comic but the gold coin is actually very nice. My expectations were very low before receiving the coin but upon opening the box, I was actually quite impressed. I can only imagine if I was actually a superman fan I would love this coin even more. I get that people who did not manage to buy one at a reasonable price are consoling themselves by telling themselves that the coin sucks and that they didn't want one anyway but I actually think you are wrong on this one. It is a cool looking coin.

I feel bad for those who purchased ONLY one Superman Gold Coin BUT through Talisman Coin.
Seeing gold coin's value goes up and up everyday, from $750 to over $2,500+ but face uncertainty whether Talisman will honor the deal or not.
It is a painful process.

Yea, that is why I didn't take the risk last night and buy the $899 copy from harvestor investments, never heard of the company before and wasnt willing to lose that much money if it was a scam site, plus wasn't a fan with the coin to start, just has the flip potential. So whoever bought from there, congrats!

Congrats to people like it and kept, the same to the people who sold it and by this subsidize next coin purchases. But it doesn't tell that all other lost something.

re silver superman coins...colonial acres is sold out on 2 and only takes pre orders on 2 with only 2 actually available with limits of 1 per customer......pretty slim pickings from here on all around..i think ebay offers the best deals and some of the package deals are a good buy and you can still get a gold coin for less than 2500.00!

Well folks, for those of you who missed it... Now that I have had the Superman gold coin in hand for a week, this seems like an appropriate place to repeat a slightly revised version of my earlier post (page 32 on this thread). However with all the continuing distractions concerning the after market prices for this coin going through the roof, I still don't think I'm going to tell you how much I am impressed with it. I won't even mention the fact that the engraved background which represents a part of the "Fortress of Solitude" is very intricate and definitely makes the reproduction of the very first cover of the comic book stand out. You still don't need to know that the word Superman seems to jump out at you from the coin. You also wouldn't be the least bit interested to know that the box is very cool, showing Clark Kent undressing on the inside of the cover, or that there is a hidden magnet closure to keep the folding cover in place. I'm positive it doesn't matter to you that the coin sits in a velvet pocket like what you find in a clam shell, so it won't fall out. Her Majesty is on the obverse of course, and she looks very sharp in frosty gold on a shiny background, but heck, who would want to know? I'm certainly going to wait to share with you that I really love this coin. So until all the turbulence dies down, I shall wait before telling you what I think...

Superman Silver ebay sales.....i just did a cursory completed price analysis on ebay and as far as the silver coins have sold..... the top 3 highest price and popularity are 1. Hologram ...the easy winner ...followed by 2. Shield holding 2nd place by a mile and then a distant 3. Man of Steel.....hmmm maybe I should make another trip to the Vancouver RCM Boutique as they still have a few Shields left and the lenticular set as well.....

I think to get not expensive RCM CuNi coin ($30 + tax) - for example one of the latest birds, or GITD or "insect on flower" and use the capsule and the case for Lenticular Superman (of cause, need to cut out it from the "coin and stamp set"). What do you think - will it destroy much the collectible value of this coin? (I mean of Superman)?
