I was looking to buy one more superman coin but I called around and it looks like all the post office around Toronto are sold out. I don't want to pay over issue. Anyone see a hologram coin anywhere? My brother saw the coin and decided he wanted one.
At this point I don't think I'll be getting my coin because I've had no reply from tails. I'm still on the fence about my friend actually getting his gold coin and not en empty box. I ordered pretty early as well, and if only I did some research before ordering. But like most I've bought from them before with no trouble...but nothing hot.

I ordered the stamp sheet and the 5 booklets so I get free shipping a few days ago and it was shipped yesterday. I got this thing from canadapost today to pick it up. I believe it is the stamps.

Regarding talisman orders add a couple other coins to your order, and ask them to combine shipping. I think its the only way you will receive your early order, if you only order the gold coin I doubt it will be shipped. Added a few silver coins to order two days ago, got shipping email today. just a thought

Good news on the Talisman front
After everything that happened today...He just received a tracking # for his order for the 2 gold coins. Will update when he receives. Good luck to everyone else waiting.

If anyones looking for Superman coins, the post office in Ancaster ON still has them. I just picked up a shield + a hologram and they still have a few more of each. No gold coin though. Just the half ounce for $69.75, the two full ounces. (Shield + holo) Anyone know which will appreciate in value more?

I just received a large legal sized booklet from the mint with superman on it and a few weeks ago I got a smaller catalogue sized booklet. haven't gotten around to flipping through them yet as I'm not much of a superman fan. did anyone else get these? are they anything special? I haven't read through the pages of posts on this thread yet.

Lol, those wallpapers are definitely for coin dealers in their front shop computers.

My girlfriend says I'm crazy not to sell it for the price they're going for right now on ebay. But I can't! I just CAN'T! ;-)

If I had 2 I would sell one. Probably almost everyone who had 2 would too. But I want to keep the collection whole for someday if I do go to sell it I would rather have the whole collection plus the books and some of those stamps.

Well, I dallied into the flipping thing for the first time in my life. 2 days ago, both of my coins sold after 5-day auction style bidding on ebay. The Hologram one - sold for the highest bid of any completed listings that I could see at $191 in the past week. The Man of Steel coin however sold for $132 - and since then, there have been a number of BIN's selling in the $170 range. By that meter, the 'Man of Steel' coin I think will become the sleeper of the set of the silver coins. Was it worth it? Let's see. I spent about 1/2 hour making the decision to purchase at my local post office. Thankfully, both coins sold to the same person, so shipping was reduced to one package. Off the top, Paypal has already taken about $11. The Shipping calculator charged the client $32 for shipping Canada to Texas. As I was going over the border already, I shipped from the states for $13 including tracking, however my bridge tolls were $6.00 round trip. My time for driving from my original destination to the post office - another 1/2 hour, and packaging say another buck or two. All told, I invested about an hour of my time, 5 days waiting for the ebay auctions to complete, and made about $60 before ebay fees. I suppose, if I had 20 or 30 coins listed, and could combine trips to the post office down to say once a week, I could see this making some coin - if you pardon the pun. However, I don't think it's worth the headache, and if I dabble some more, it'll be for a lark, and nothing serious.
