Does RCM get free shipping from canada post cause there both crown corporations. If they want to save money send me all my coins at once. I ordered first day the 6 superman coins minus the gold darn lol and first they sent me lenticular, hologram, and man of steel. Then today I get modern and shield and they still owe me Vintage. It says when I log into my profile still processing for superman got a delay notice for candy cane last week and I get another package today and its the candy cane and it changed to shipped this morning lol. I think the shield is definitely my favorite looks awesome in hand the work to paint that is crazy. Then hologram, man of steel, modern, lenticular and never say vintage in hand yet.

Kind of creative. Thanks , arianzo for interesting find. But it 12oz of .999 Silver (not a 1oz), so the asking price more or less fair (I compare with RCM 10oz coin) Too bad, that the condition is far from being the perfect.

@ arianzo..MC member status apparantly doesn't help overcome the limit of 2 on vintage or any other Superman release coin
anyways..im ordering from Gatewest at issue price..they are now sold out on every coin except vintage and superman gold...its pretty good deal from them ...no taxes

Yeah, my fault, it's 12 oz, a huge coin. And also it has a nice box (better than the cardboard boxes RCM loves to give).

The limit of 2 I suppose is through the web page. Anyway, I ordered just 1 Vintage so if you want the other one let me know.

So cool that arianzo will help you out CASSIDY77! Everyone can make this the best site! Less bickering & more helping each other out, either through info or coins, is better than arguing. Some threads have gotten, should we say bull headed & just round after round.

thanks arianzo..i appreciate the generous offer....I ordered a bunch from Gatewest yesterday and that about does it for me in buying Superman unless I decide to spring for another gold Superman in the secondary market......at 2300 or less its a good deal right now and theres not much to choose from on ebay these days.....i notice the new gold listings are already drying up in the last week...now arianzo.... if you want to part with any of your other 2nd superman coins except lenticular set id be interested...i kind of got bullish on the Shield....having a rep on the line doesn't help overcome the 2 limit and I dont use credit cards...cash only....thanks again arianzo

I was in a major Toronto Sub-PO today. They had a huge display of Superman stamps - but nary a Superman coin to be seen. Curious, I had a look over in the Stamp section of this forum to see if there was as much interest there in the Superman stamps as there is here in the Superman coins.
Nope.

Superman stamps are everywhere..on the little island where I live you can buy booklets of them in the local PO and production figures are much larger than silver coinage ie booklet of 10 stamps 6 million::souvenir sheet::250,000....coil::3,750,000..the press sheet is the only item sold out and the set of 5 booklets is only 6000....I looked at the superman stamp pages a few times and found the response quite muted compared to the coin forum..Stamp collectors are in a different market than coins.....They are used to very strange subject matter on the stamps and dont impress very easily.......

further to my last post......i dont mean to suggest that coin collectors are easily impressed!......but as far as stamps go...In terms of superhero themes the US post office has produced lots of licensed stamps of all the superheroes..so the Canada release , tho in demand , is not an original idea like the coinage....and having the queens cameo on a coin ups the ante big time which is another reason why the spider man coin will be successful like Superman is....im not really into Stamps but I have a few .....my dad had a whole room devoted to stamps...mostly I think your either into coins ..or stamps...i chose coins...

I believe most here would agree with your choice.
