I don't know why I was thinking of 2000 as the first year of the 21st century, oops!
Do not sweat it.

For what it is worth, I prefer to use astronomical year numbering. 1 BC = Year 0.

There wasn't a year 0, or a year 1 for that matter, or even a year 10, they just didn't have the numbering system until much later. When does a decade start? 2000 or 2001? 2010 or 2011?

Looks great!
I have this same folder and it is by far my favorite. I take it out a few times each month and look at it.
The Barber half was my last one too!
I keep upgrading it too... Mine has a proof clad quarter, proof Franklin and clad dime, and a silver '73 Ike.
I cant quite see from the pictures.. is your Birth year 1990? too bad they didnt have silver proof issues that year.

Decades start with the tens digit change, since decades are not ordinal (we do not refer to the 201st decade, for example) and there is no concern over a "first decade" not having a year zero.

I have a few proofs of some of these but I would rather keep them in flips for now. Depending on how I like my Dansco when it shows up I could see myself getting a type set album.

You will find you love albums versus folders once you seen them. I dislike folders because you can only see one side of the coin and they are open to the air and the coins never seem to fit in them right. Whitman makes a good 20th type century album you might want to look into that. It adds a few coins too like a T1 Standing Liberty quarter, a t1 buffalo nivkel and sever extra kennedies and an extra modern Lincoln Penny.

I have looked at Whitman albums before and they have always seemed like they were made of a cheaper, less sturdy material. I guess I could have been seeing older albums?

From the feel of and looks of the albums I have looked through I prefer Dansco so far.

Congrats; well done.

Just be careful.
Type sets can become addicting.
If you don't watch out before you know it you'll be working on a 19th century set.

I just ordered the Whitman Classic 20th century album for my little boys set, I'll take pics of it when it arrives if you would like. I will likely start another one when I finish this one for my new baby due next month. I was asking her about them when I was buying my 3 cent silver piece for my 7070 and she pulled the book out and ordered me one (I am now to 53 of the 76 spots filled on my 7070).

The major difference other than being an album versus a folder is it does a few more varieties would give you something to shoot for. The set includes a 1909 VDP Lincoln, a 1959-1982 and a 1982 to date (instead of just 1959-date), a 1913 Variety 1 Buffalo nickel, a 1938-1965 Jefferson and a 66-date Jefferson (instead of just a 1938-date), a type 1 Standing Liberty quarter, both varieties of the 1976 quarter silver and copper clad instead of just one, both varities of the 1976 half silver and copper instead of just one, and 5 varieties of ikes (1971 silver clad, variety 1 copper nickel clad, variety II copper nickel clad, silver clad and 1971-1978).

It drops the Sacagawea and the 1965-1970 %40 Kennedy. So it adds 10 coins and drops 2, wouldn't be too hard to complete since you got most of it already :)

I just noticed your set includes a birth year set thats not included in the whitman (my birth year was 1976 so my set is always included :) )

@sirdizzy
I would love to see some pictures of the Whitman Album, I like that it has all of those varieties. 76 is probably the best year for a birth year as far as type sets are concerned. :)

@kanga
I've already got the itch, it will probably be needing a good scratching soon
