I finally completed my first set! Went down to the LCS today and they had a couple of Barber halves, I picked one I liked and it completed my type set folder! Now I finally feel like I am progressing with my collection and can't wait to put my emphasis on Roosevelts. I just ordered a Dansco album including proofs (most places were out of stock which I thought was weird) that I will be filling with BU or better coins except for a couple of the outrageous key dates.

Yes, one attaboy for the accomplishment. A coin album full is a pleasure to view, while one with a hole or two not filled would make me pull what's left of my hair out until I got them completed.

Always nice to complete a set ... Congrats The Roosevelt set has a few harder to find coins, but none to expensive, good luck on completing it. And yes we all like to see pics of your coins.

Here is the album, the pictures aren't that great but the camera on my phone is the only one I've got. Does anybody know why the Sacagawea coin is included in the 20th Century type set?

The Sacagawea is included because they started making them in 1999 so its officially a 20th century type coin. I am doing this set for my boys, I put my downgrades from my 7070 in it. I am not a big folder fan was thinking of upgrading them to the Whitman Classic 20th century type album, LOL that just makes it a little pricier as that includes a T1 Standing Liberty quarter and a T1 Buffalo.

Quote: Does anybody know why the Sacagawea coin is included in the 20th Century type set Because the year 2000 is the last year of the twentieth century. There was no year zero. Regardless if one agrees with that or not, you have a nice set.

I agree with Jbuck, the Sac started in 2000, and that is the last year of the 20th century. Nice looking set How far are you on Roosevelt dimes?

I don't know why I was thinking of 2000 as the first year of the 21st century, oops!
As far as the Roosevelts go I've got a Whitman folder set for those that is approximately 70% full, with nearly all of that being pulled from circulation.
@GR58 For the Dansco I ordered that I will be filling with BU or better I have somewhere between 20-30 coins waiting for it to arrive.
