Won this lot. Not a cheap one, no profit in it, I just wanted the Temple and the follis (and the curious lion coin).

Anyone see anything good? Some nice coins, some crud, a few non romans.

I like these kind of crummy lots with the hidden nice coins. But pricey (this one was £16!)

You must have a fair few these days. And besides, If I find any more (or I get any in lots) then you'll be the first sucker person ill talk to.

Ill get one eventually for my collection. Chewed up to fit in...

14 in total and 9 so far this year - that seems about the average on ebay, 1 per month.

I know of a Galerius (£125), a Maximian (£100) and a Constantius (£85) for sale but those prices are IMHO at least twice what the coins are actually worth. Maybe if I'm feeling flush at Christmas I'll ask Santa for them

Stop mentioning Xmas.
My wife informs me the staff in Asda today were wearing Xmas themed T shirts.

Not a bad price, considering that in all honesty, in "Coin Craft", the "Junk Tray" has coins AE4s of that grade for £2 each.

Crazy - wonder how long it will be before the TV ads start rolling out, by the time Christmas comes I'm usually sick of the whole thing

The easter stuff appears at the local corner shop before Christmas day...

Coincraft's £2 tray is worse than that. Mostly slicks, I kid you not. I bought 5 coins from them though - A republican with janus and centaurs, a couple of posthumous Constantines, an unknown (still not worked it out) and a possible Leo I.
