Went camping this past weekend with some friends and my family. First night on the beach didn't find much and the second another friend of mine wanted to go out and detect this was his first time. He borrowed an extra detector someone brought a bounty hunter. On our way back to camp he was detecting and what do you know he finds a platinum diamond ring that made his day lol

Nice. Did he get a lot for it or keep it? I've never been lucky enough to find anything like that, but at the same time I'd feel pretty conflicted about it. I know there's no way to get it back to the person, but I don't know.

He kept the ring the diamond in it wasn't that big I'm guessing the ring is worth about 3-5 hundred dollars
