I have some US pennies that have some really prominent polished die errors, do they hold any value?

I also think there is a Die clash going on here too?

They polish the dies to remove the clash marks. Sometimes they don't get rid of them and other times all you see are scratches. No extra value for them. Sorry

I agree with coop about the polish lines but I think I would keep that one for the die clash on the reverse.I keep them when the out-line of Lincolns bust from the obverse shows under the steps on the reverse.

Every now and then a polished die error catches collectors fancy and then they do bring a premium. Best known cases are the 1937 D three legged buffalo, and the 1922 no D cent. To a lesser extent you have the two feather Buffalo nickels. But as a general rule, no polished die errors have little to no value.

Well, SOMETIMES they add value. Like the 1990-D Jefferson nickel where the designer's initials were polished off the die. Or when a Mintmark is polished off the die. Otherwise, they often distract from the design of a coin and decrease the demand and value.

I would not even call die polishing an "error" since it is an acceptable part of the minting process and something intentionally done to the dies in order to remove clash marks or minor damage. Once you get into the realm of die polishing so aggressive that significant detail is removed, that could be considered an error but it is still something that the Mint does not screen out unlike many other errors.
