Been strap searching singles on and off for a few months - not too dilligent about it, and I work at a restaurant so keeping my eye out for interesting stuff:

This star note isn't from a rare run but it just struck me as looking off for some reason, am I wrong?

Really off center 1976 $2 bill

Two nice radars!

Bunch of $1 star notes, non are from rare runs

Questions:

Is that $10 bill worth keeping? I don't intend to sell anything that I find, but my qualifications to keep something are that it must be *likely* to carry a premium.

Obviously the radar notes are keepers and have a premium, but what about the $1 star notes and the $2 bill?

Thanks in advance for any and all expertise!

That is a nice ten with exception of those nasty tape pieces on the reverse. I keep the star notes regardless, full $100 straps tend to sell with a little premium. Last strap I got $125 on the bay. It's hard to form an opinion on the $2 bill, it's not a tremendous off center that it will command too much premium, especially in that condition.

How many $1's did you search to find that many?

Not a lot... I'd guess maybe 2000 or so? Pulled both the radars that way, also. The $2 bill I received as a tip at work and the $10 star note I plucked out of the register.

Ok that's not bad your finding about as many as I am. I found 7 within $1500 so we are finding pretty close to the same amount.

I was thinking about bundling all the non-rare star's together and selling a strap of them on ebay, as someone suggested. Really after radars and repeaters and other cool serial numbers! I'd also love to find a web note.
