Hi all, I have a few notes that I have been considering getting professionally graded, but I know nothing about currency TPG's. Can anyone offer some helpful advice? Which TPG should I use? How do I go about sending them in? Etc. Etc.

I've been collecting coins for about 10 years, but this paper stuff is all new to me.

TPG--Currency---Info-Please

CGS is a well reputable grader when it comes to notes.

PMG and PCGS Currency are two other reputable grading companies.

PCGS can be contacted by:
Toll-Free 800-447-8848
Fax 949-833-7660

CGS Inc.:
Phone: (908) 788-8866
Fax: (908) 788-1677

I have never sent in notes to be graded before. Only coins. The CGS seems very simple to send in notes to be graded. In the Coin World's Paper Money Values magazine, which can be found in any LARGE book store, you will see the form you fill out to send them to CGS. I would have no problem getting my own notes graded by CGS. On ebay, 9 out of 10 graded notes will be graded by CGS. From what I have seen CGS even sell for just as much, if not more than the other two graders. Notes aren't quite like the coin graders yet. You don't have so many fake and unreputable services. CGS, PCGS, and PMG are all great services and I own notes graded by all three. They all GREATLY increase the value of your notes. Graded notes always sell more than non graded notes. Good luck with getting your notes graded.
