In 1996 in the US new $100 USD bank-papers were published. It were bank-papers of new specimen. About 46,000 were released.

However a defect was found and all these bank-papers were recalled except few hundred. The defect was related to watermark - the place of it was really strange.
It was slightly dislodged and the face of president was rotated. For now there are just several hundreds of such bank-papers.

And I have such a bank-paper and I am looking for more information about it.

Could you please post a picture? I've never heard of this or seen one.
I'm sure someone will be along that knows more to help you out.

I think the watermark might be difficult to scan. A backlight might be needed.
